I knew that working with Tina Cali was the right choice to be our realtor when I called to inquire about possibly selling our home. She was attentive, honest and understanding. We met in person a day later and she spent time with my husband and I discussing our vision, addressing our concerns, explaining the process she would use, things for us to think about and next steps. About 30 minutes into our conversation, we knew she was the realtor that would not only help us sell our home but also find our next home. Throughout the sale she answered all of our questions right away either via phone or through text messages, checked-in with us to discuss details, offered us suggestions and even helped us troubleshoot issues that arose during this process. She was patient when helping us navigate and understand the current market all while providing tips, options and referrals. Tina Cali has made a nerve-wracking process extremely manageable and even "fun" at times. (She always greeted us with a smile). Selling my home after creating so many beautiful memories there for 16 years was quite emotional. Tina honored and treated me with such love & respect during this precess. We hired her this time last year after she sold my mothers condo quickly and flawlessly after my mom had passed away:).
Sadly I got cold feet and pulled out of the market soon after. She was so accommodating, kind and genuine. About a month ago, I contacted her knowing I was finally ready and within a few days we received a perfect offer & accepted! Yesterday we closed! It was a flawless transition. My attorney said he has never worked with an agent that went as far any beyond as Tina had. She took care of the hefty punch list for me since I have been living in Florida. It included making many inspection appointments, fluffing all of the necessary safety codes and representing me as if we were family. I can now say she feels like a close friend & a member of my family:). I am humbled by her professionalism, kindness, love & support. What to say about Tina that hasn't already been said? She sold my mother's house in Montclair. I want to say that I was always going to use Tina even though I was advised not to because she wasn't "a local". That's a laugh. She definitely did her homework/ research and came prepared with comps for the area. She went over every step with us from what she thought the house should be priced at, and why, to when, how to stage the house, going through offers, inspections, closing, and beyond. Always patient. Always got back to us if we had questions or concerns. Would I refer Tina...YES! For the above reasons alone. As it turned out we had an amazing turnout, awesome offers and a smooth closing. Tina had to deal with me, being a remote seller located out of state, a preexisting tenant who was heavily pregnant and leery of people coming for showings and she still sold the home. The first sale fell through because the buyers' deal fell through, but she sold it again and this time went the extra mile in ensuring that the home received the proper permits from municipal agencies to mollify seller concerns. Without question I can honestly say that but for Tina Cali's efforts, this place ultimately would not have closed. I can say that she single handedly assured that this place did close.
